I am a digital marketing professional based in Nairobi, Kenya. I have over 15 years of experience in digital marketing strategy, creative design, business apps, technology integration, digital marketing, social media and mobile (web, marketing & apps).

I have worked at leading Pan-African Internet companies such as Africa Online, 3mice interactive media, Kenyaweb and Dotsavvy, a cutting edge digital business agency that I founded in 2002 and maintain an interest in to-date as the CEO.

In 2010, I took on the challenge setting up Dealfish East Africa (Now OLX Kenya) in the capacity of Regional Manager for Naspers and succeeded with my amazing team in making it the leading online classifieds web site in Kenya and Uganda on both mobile and desktop.

In early 2012, I joined InMobi in the capacity of Sales Director for Africa where I drove the Africa sales strategy and go-to-market plans including revenue targets, quarterly goals, and strategic objectives, as well as overall budget and resource allocation in Kenya, Ghana, Egypt and Nigeria.

In early 2014, I joined the Perform Group as their Commercial Manager for East Africa. The Perform Group is one of the world’s leading sports media concerns that owns and operates premium digital sports media properties such as Goal.com and also delivers multichannel sports content to media businesses and other sectors.

I am an award-winning TechBlogger via this blog where I rant and rave about all things digital in Kenya and Africa. I regularly speak at major technology and marketing events throughout Africa. I contribute to media often on a broad range of technology and digital marketing topics within an African context.
